Gallery, Workshop, Atelier…Whatever.
Located in the center of downtown Roskilde (Denmark), my atelier is a flexible space for artistic practice. It is the main workshop for J. Scott Stratton, but is often also used by visiting and guest artists for workshops, creative developement and their own artistic practices.
Guest Exhibition
Throughout the year, the space will host several guest exhibitions that span genres of sculpture, photography, and painting. It is an artist driven-space, so there is no pomp, hype or monitary incentive around the curation of works and artists that are shown. The quest artists are those we find inspiring, exceptional, and we simple want to give them anothe white box to showcase their work.
About the Space
Only minutes from the main walking street in , foot traffic outside the workshop is not a problem to the point of being a distraction. However, this is not a workspace for those looking for total seclusion during their artistic practice. The J. Scott Stratton Atelier is a space that is intended to allow for more public exposure to artistic practice.
Requirements
